Learning about attachment styles has been transformative in my life and my relationships.

 

I never understood why I would repeat certain toxic patterns or self-sabotaging behaviors.

 

I would experience the same painful feelings, thoughts and behaviors when it came to love and felt victim to those circumstances.

 

When I dove deep into the attachment framework and research, I felt liberated to know that these patterns were a result of what I learned from my earlier relationship dynamics, and most importantly, that I am not stuck to these ways of experiencing love.

 

From then on, I focused on bringing this awareness into my life, thus shifting my patterns with the help of evidence based practices that have been transformational in my life and the lives of those I serve.
