Do you often feel tense and on edge?
You often find that you’re comparing yourself to other’s and then feeling discouraged?
Do you feel overwhelmingly disappointed and angry when the expectations you’ve set for yourself aren’t met?
Do you beat yourself over mistakes and ruminate on your “failures” long after they’re over?
How about your self-talk? Is it often negative or critical?
Do you find it easier to forgive someone else but a lot harder to forgive yourself?
Do you find pressure to be productive? Attaching your worth to how much you do?
Do you give up on challenges quickly or hold yourself back from going after your desires, fearing you won’t be successful?
Do you focus more on your shortcomings than you do on your accomplishments?
Do you have a habit of taking things personally?
I know how painful this way of treating ourselves can be–And it only took me a good 30 years of my life for me to take my mental health seriously and begin seeing the benefits that implementing certain therapeutic methods can have in our lives.
Because here’s the thing–When you do this work that I’m about to share with you, it has a RIPPLE EFFECT on everything you do. When you treat yourself with more love and compassion, your relationships also improve. When your relationships improve, so does your health and sense of well-being. When your health and well-being improve, you find more stability and abundance. When you radiate love, you feel love. It’s all interconnected and it all starts when you say YES to your growth.
The mind is like a double edged sword–It can either be the source of bondage or the source of freedom.
Your mind is a powerful tool–And depending on how you use it, it can be constructive or destructive.
The way we currently think, feel and behave is a result of years and years of conditioning that when unchecked, can lead to destructive effects, including symptoms of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance abuse, negative self-image, decreased motivation and productivity. And although we may initially not be fully aware of where we adopted these ways of thinking, feeling and behaving, it’s our duty to shift them so that we can experience a more peaceful existence.
Through this course, I teach you practical and relatively simple tools to help you reduce your self-criticism. I bring a unique blend of my formal psychotherapy training + my own additional strategies to help you not only feel better, but to also help you make better decisions and waste less time and emotional energy on things that don’t add value to your life.
Because the truth is, we all have an inner critic in which we are evolutionary predisposed to. I’m not going to lie and say that this inner voice will completely disappear, because the reality is that we need it in order to keep us safe and make good decisions. For example, treating others well, meeting our goals, eating healthy…To more evident scenarios such as not touching the hot pan or crossing the busy street on a red light. The real issue is when that inner dialogue gets too negative that it becomes harmful.
You are not here to be in constant conflict with your mind. This course will teach you how to utilize this powerful tool to help you grow, succeed and lead a happy life.
5 modules (video presentations) on the different topics pertaining to reframing your inner critic.
In week one, you will learn what the inner critic is. You will begin to understand the inner critics actual purpose in your life and how it’s been negatively impacting you. You will also begin to separate yourself from the voice through simple Mindfulness strategies.
In week 2, you will begin to understand how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all interconnected, creating the reality you’re currently experiencing. You will learn how to implement CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) into your own life in order to break your painful thinking patterns.
In week 3, you will learn how to interrupt your painful thinking patterns by using Mindful Self-Compassion. Mindful Self-Compassion is a proven method (and powerful tool) that promotes emotional resilience and sense of well-being. Here, you will learn how to finally be kind to yourself ♡
In week 4, you will learn how to Self-Reparent. Self-Reparenting is the process whereby an adult recognizes the poor example set for them as a child and therefore learns how to relate to themselves in a healthier way. Here, you will not only learn how to better treat yourself and other’s, but you will also develop a new “self-talk” or inner dialogue to cultivate more of that self-love!
In week 5, you will learn a quick (and effective!) trick to unidentify from your inner critic in order to avoid being easily triggered. By implementing this trick, you will experience more individuality, more happiness, more peace and personal freedom.
The tools I’ll be teaching you in this course are a blend of my formal psychotherapy training + my own additional strategies to help you make the shifts you want to see. The best part is that I have broken them down for you into simple, practical steps so that you can master and implement into your daily life.
These techniques have profoundly changed my life and I’m so grateful to be able to share them with you through this e-course.
